At Bancroft, we want our students to become active advocates in making their communities a better place. What better way to teach your child to take pride in their school and community than to work alongside them to make our school a better place? Bancroft Performing Arts/STEAM Magnet Middle School has partnered with Big Sunday to beautify our campus on Saturday, May 19, 2018. We will be working on various painting projects between 8 A.M.-12 P.M. One hundred and fifty volunteers from all over Los Angeles will join us in giving Bancroft a face-lift on this day. We want our students and parents to feel welcome within the school setting and have planned to share much needed love with numerous drab settings (i.e., hallway landings, Counseling Office, yard). Please RSVP Click here!!!

The 15-Week Progress Report Cards will go home with the students on May 4, 2018.

Testing will be from May 7th to May 22nd. Please help us by encouraging your child to do their best and be present all days!

A School-Parent Compact for Achievement is an agreement that parents, students and teachers develop together. It explains how parents and teachers will work together to make sure all our students reach or exceed grade-level standards. A copy of the School-Parent Compact for Achievement was sent home with every student on 11/30/2017. Additional copies are available in the Main Office, Attendance Office and Parent Center.

The school Parental Involvement Policy has been developed jointly with, and agreed on with, parents of children participating in Title I, Part A programs, as evidenced by The School Site Council. This policy was adopted by the Bancroft Middle School on 11/30/2017 and will be in effect for the period of 01/01/18 to 12/31/18. The school distributed this policy to all parents of children participating Title I, Part A on 11/30/17. It will be made available to the local community on or before 11/30/17. Additional copies are available in the Main Office, Attendance Office and Parent Center.

To apply for the L.A.C.E.R after school program, fill out the enrollment forms (English & Spanish) and turn them into room 234.
